If God is really good, why is there so much suffering in the world? This is a question that haunts believers and non-believers alike. To make matters worst, many churches teach that God causes suffering in order to bring Himself glory! In this episode, we look at a converstion between Jesus and His disciples that sheds light on this subject. We also take a look at lessons learned from the life of Job. God is better than we could ever imagine. He is not the author of suffering, He is the HEALER of our sufferings. As we grapple with these difficult questions together, it is my firm hope that you come out the other side with an unshakeable confession: that God really is GOOD.

In this week's episode I'm continuing my series on Divine Healing! The Bible says that Faith "works" (or is ENERGIZED) by LOVE! Therefore, one of the keys to great Faith is to weed fear-based theologies out of our belief system. In this episode I take a look at some passages that are often misused to teach that healing is NOT always God's will. We cover Paul's mysterious "thorn in the flesh," Jesus's terrifying words in Revelation 2:22, as well as 1st Corinthians 11 which talks about people dying from taking communion.

Yet we are entirely powerless to produce this fruit by ourselves. 2nd Corinthians reveals that it is only by encountering the Glory of God that we are transformed into His image. This was a pivotal moment for my family, as it opened us up to a whole new dimension of the goodness of God and sent me on a theological journey. Now, 8 years later, I want to unpack all that I've learned about Divine Healing. This series will challenge, provoke, and inspire you. It might even cause your beliefs to shift in suprising ways. Ultimately, it is my hope that you walk away from this with a brighter vision of God, and the confidence to lay your hands on the sick and see them recover.

I also talk about how it can be turned into a prayer of meditation, and answer some concerns that often come up around this topic. At the end, I lead a guided meditation session.
